After all the focus on the EU referendum and the surprising result and politics becoming the focus of so many people’s thoughts lately, I feel compelled to paint a politician.
Hard to choose!
However, this photograph of probably our most revered politician in recent history giving the “V for Victory” sign jumped out at me. Whatever your view on the outcome of the referendum, the result was certainly a “victory” for democracy. But to me this photo which I’ll paint will be done as if Churchill is promoting “peace” rather than “victory”.
So much anger and confrontation since the vote came in, people need to relax, calm down, and pull together in the uncertain times ahead.
