November 17, 2012: Olivia Wilde walks her dog Paco, in New York City. While out Wilde stopped to get herself a cup of coffee at the Blue Bottle Coffee Co. Before going in, Wilde made sure Paco wouldn't run off by securing his leash to the company's sidewalk sign.

Being a Twitter follower of Olivia Wilde’s, I see her posting regularly about animal rights (a subject I am a keen supporter of) so she has long been a person I’ve wished to paint. I love to paint gorgeous women who have class and integrity, and when I found this picture (7am today on a creative search) it was an instant “Yes! That’s the one!”. The way Paco, Olivia’s rescue dog she’s had for years, is looking up at her reminds me of our Rex. What a photo. We took Rex in from my brothers ex-girlfriends parents who were divorcing, and he was a little character. Miss that guy.
Anyway yes, it’s a great photo and it captures the bond between the two subjects beautifully. I’m going to start this now! Inspired
