Having received a set of colour acrylic paints from my brother and his missus for my recent birthday, I am compelled to take the plunge and start creating brighter, more colour-filled pieces.
The first piece I shall be experimenting with is a scene from “The Wolf Of Wall Street” film, which I finally got round to watching this month and loved! This is a very provocative, sexy and also hilarious scene (which I am not going to explain if you haven’t seen it!)…

(26/06/14) Didn’t bother pencil with a pencil sketch first (as my sketches are awful anyway and seem to be a waste of time), instead just threw the colour down and formed basic shapes in 1hr30…

(26/07/14) another 2 hours done this afternoon and I’m calling it a day on this one. In hindsight, the subject was far too complex as a first experiment with colour, so I am calling this experiment ‘complete’ and shall be reverting back to black and white in future. I shall be omitting it from my gallery as it only looks half done. I just cannot bear to look at it any more! A waste of 15 hours of my life if I’m honest…
