Creating a unique piece of art for a client takes trust, time, dedication, patience and communication. 

Before a brush touches the canvas, there will be thorough discussions between yourself & Stephen, in order to achieve complete clarity regarding your desires and requirements for the bespoke artwork

Once the painting process has begun, Stephen will regularly update you, sending visual progress reports along the way. This process guarantees the best results and always leaves the client overjoyed. 'POPS - ONCE A BEAR, ALWAYS A BEAR'

'AMIR & THE SOPRANOS'

(SEPTEMBER 2024 - MAY 2025) black & white acrylics on 30x24" stretched canvas.

This was a big project that involved painting cast members from 'The Sopranos' and incorporating the client himself (who is a massive fan) into the piece.

A lot of digital editing/stitching together of reference photographs was required before painting could begin, which meant the overall completion time was upwards of 60 hours work from start to finish. 

'I DIDN'T SAY NOTHIN'

A painting of the character 'Carmine Lupertazzi' from 'The Sopranos', the first commission from a great client who is a big fan of the show! This scene is from a very amusing episode, where chaos arises from a distasteful joke somebody may or may not have told! 

'MILO'

(NOVEMBER 2023) black & white acrylics on 16x12" stretched canvas.

A painting of a majestic chocolate labrador, Milo, who I actually had the pleasure to meet at an art/craft fair when he was a young dog. Sadly he passed away so one of the owners wanted to immortalize their beautiful boy on canvas, commissioning the painting as a thoughtful surprise gift for his other half. 

'NANA FUNK'

(APRIL 2022) black & white acrylics on 12x9" stretched canvas.

A painting of local entertainer Nana Funk, commissioned by her other half as a nice surprise! The image has since been used on her merchandise (with permission granted by myself and the photographer who took the shot I worked from)

'DANIELLE & PATRICK'S WEDDING' 

(NOVEMBER 2021 - JANUARY 2022) black & white acrylics on 16x12" stretched canvas.

This is the second commission I have done for this couple from America, and it was an honour to be asked to recreate such a fantastically composed photograph of such a special occasion.
